Friendship Quote of The Day:
My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me.
Hi people. Long time no see.
'Cos I got nothing to update.
Well, if you want me to brag about my last semester results lar. Haha.
I got all A's except for English I got A-.
The nerve. I can't even feel how it is like to get Four Flat.
Nevermind. I got something to update by the way.
Yesterday is my cousin's wedding. Or should I say Tong Gor.
He's my father's brother's eldest son's wedding.
I forgot the term for it. Hehe.
Erm, it's situated in Tropicana Golf Country Club.
Once you've entered it's like going into a kingdom with a lot of palace.
Only for the rich and famous.
I can even see people playing golf when it's raining. LoL.
So we've entered one of the palace, which is the grand ballroom.
I didn't felt like Cinderella though. 'Cos I'm wearing some lousy clothes.
Wished I have a dinner dress... Sigh. Too fat to have one.
This is the steps to eternal happiness.
The ballroom is at the left after the stairs.
Here is the super crowded entrance.
I tried to take a clear picture of it but sadly my mum blocked my camera view.
And my dad.
A lot of them wearing really formal clothes.
I looked at myself and felt so embarrassed.
I wore the sleeveless stripe shirt with cardigan and black pants.
And flats. I looked so stupid.
Nevertheless we were greeted by my Tong Gor himself as he was standing at the entrance. And did I mention my Tong Jie looked so damn pretty that nite.
She wore a green tiered dress. She looked so cute!
And looked super younger than me. Sigh.
She's over 20 but looked like 15 years old.
After that we were seated in our respective table.
Lucky number 8~!
My dad and my aunt busy chatting with each other, siblings anyways...
My cousin sis was on my right with her boyfriend while my brother sat on my left.
What I ever did is look at the surroundings and takes lots of pictures.
This is the cake they're suppose to cut later.
But all I took is the guy sitting in table number 5. Duh. And my mum.
Then I noticed a cute cardboard bag from Tai Thong.
And inside filled with two Beryl's chocolate hearts. Too sweet.
The 1st dish was served at 8.28pm.
And I missed the picture taking.
I was so hungry that I didn't get a chance to take a picture of it.
Before it was served, the waiters strangely went up the stage with the platter on their hand and gave us a bow. Funny.
The platter is filled with 4 both hot and cold dishes, with a candle lit in the middle.
Prawn with celery, Fried something with mayonaise (square), fried fishball with layered crust? and jellyfish topped with abalone pieces.
I really had no idea what that fried something is but it sure is tasty!
Then the next dish is Shark's Fin soup with crab meat, as usual.
But this time this dish is super thick and it's not fake!
(That's my bro's hand -_-)
Look at this... No vinegar also enough to make me hum.
After that, yummy fresh big steamed fish!
I had no idea what fish is that, but we had my cousin's boyfriend to cut it for us.
LoL... The waiter not smart enough.
And my brother to take out the fish bone without turning it over.
Can you see it properly?
'Cos that time the slide show of their wedding photos were played on the screen so they off the lights. It's actually roasted chicken with prawn crackers.
Yummy. I can smell it when I was watching the slide show, force me to turn back to face the table again and dig in!
But I ended up eating a 'lil bit of them 'cos the rest ate them too fast. Sob.
And the stupiak slide show screen is behind me. Duh.
After that we had the MC talking again.
He invited us to do the traditional 'yum seng' section.
You know, to give a toast or something.
But it's not a toast but 3 toasts. LoL.
My throat also doesn't feel well.
After that the newly-weds smiled and posed...
(The stupiak bridesmaid blocked the bride)
Then they cut the cake and poured champagne.
After that, the next dish arrived.
Stir fried tiger prawns with tomato I think.
I only ate 1! UGH! It's so hard to eat when I had to be courteous and polite.
I can't use my hand... So I ended up eating 1/2 of it.
And the prawn don't have taste inside. LoL.
Then the MC perform some silly acts. We laughed like shyt.
He had performed 5 dances in 5 minutes, excluding his costumes changing time.
1st dance is Malay dance and I missed to take a picture, again.
Then he changed to some oldies woman's clothes. HAHA.
He even wore a flower decorated hat.
Next is the Indian dance. I know, damn blur.
I using my camera phone anyway, what do you expect?
I didn't get to take the picture of the yellow dress he wore as well.
Ah, sucks lar.
That don't know who's stupid head blocking.
He's wearing some ballet dress. Funny.
And danced some Thai dance.
Here, clearer now.
Before that a voice speaking some finding aquas or gays in Thai lols.
Lastly, he acted as Beyonce.
LOL. He said, since Beyonce is not coming then he'll replace her instead.
He even wore a short blonde wig but this picture failed to show visibly.
But really some Beyonce's sexy clothes. Haha.
The next dish is my favourite.
Braised sea cucumber with fish maw, mushroom and broccoli.
YUMMY~! And pricey.
(That's my cousin's boyfriend's hand. LoL)
After that, the boring same old dish.
What is it called again? Something leaf rice.
I rather have fried rice with small yummy fished sprinkled on top.
When we're eating, the family including the newly weds went to every table to 'yum seng'
And no one wanna clank my glass. LoL.
Lastly is the dessert section.
Here we had Longan with some beans dessert -_-
sorry I should have copied the menu and type them here. Duh.
Then got some yummy snacks.
Should it be called snacks?
The round one has yummy peanut filling~
And the square one is fried with lotus filling. ^ ^
By the way, I forgot to mention that this wedding is my first time drinking wine.
15% alcohol. Red wine I mean.
When I took a sip, it actually corrode my tongue and left some weird taste in my throat. Ewww. Never ask me to drink it again.
Last time I only drank Shandy. Not even beer. Duh.
So I ended up combining the red wine with Coke.
It actually ended up nice.
My brother on the other hand, drank a lot of whisky. 42% alcohol.
Soooooo many cups of em.
After that, the dinner ended and we bade farewell.
After we took pictures with the newly weds and chit chat abit of course.
(And my brother ended up throwing up in the middle of the journey.
Who asked him to drink so much?
So his car ended up super dirty with his vomit. Ugh.)
That's all. We reached home at around almost midnight.
And I didn't touch my homework. Sob.
Okay. Chiaoz people.
(Hopefully I got more stuff to update in the future)
PS: my another cousin's wedding next month. haha.
