Hey guys!
Gosh, I wanted to do something so much.
I'm so bored to death at home without anything to do,
besides Facebook-ing and 9Gag-ing.
This week I've been crazy about manga!
For those people who are unsure what I'm talking about,
I'm not talking about a padlock, in Malay,
and I'm not talking about mango, in Malay.
But it was all about Japanese comics!
We don't call them comics simply because you will think that I was referring to English-type comics, like Marvel, or even childish children comics like Crayon Shin Chan.
Here, I present to you, the list of manga I read this week,
(using my mum's ipad, I was addicted to it! It can download tons of manga, but free account only limited to 10 chapters per time. It's called Manga Storm.)
Guys, you can look away, these manga are for girls hahaha~
Tsuki no Shippo (Tail of the Moon)
Zettai Kareshi (absolute boyfriend)
Hadashi de Bara wo Fume
Koukou Debut
BxB Brothers
Kanata Kara (From Far Away)
That looks a lot, huh?
I can tell you that both Tsuki no Shippo and Hadashi de Bara wo Fume is drawn by the same mangaka, Ueda Rinko. I prefer Tsuki no Shippo, it made me cry like shit in 1 part.
Hadashi de Bara wo Fume is more to, a very very wicked villain.
And both of these manga is historical, though the latter happened around world war. I think.
I'm pretty sure Zettai Kareshi is quite well-known.
They even have drama for this manga!
I didn't watch the drama version though, I think that whatever anime or drama you watch,
the manga will always be the best plot. Anime and drama tend to cut scenes away.
This is drawn by the famous mangaka Watase Yuu who created both Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres! I love her drawing. Look at Night! He really is the absolute boyfriend every girl ever dreamt.
Koukou Debut is quite funny at first, but it kinda bores me when the plot lengthens.
The drawing is a little similar to Kimi ni Todoke, but it appears that the latter is not her work.
The plot is a little similar to Kimi ni Todoke too, but I don't really like those stories that lengthen on their love progress. It really is boring.
BxB Brothers has its own charm.
It's quite funny and nice, but the confession part is the one that bores me too.
Man, it takes forever for the guy to confess.
And he's so freaking dumb. Argh.
Anyhow I prefer this than Koukou Debut.
I saw someone recommend Kanata Kara when I searched around google for manga similar to Tsuki no Shippo.
I kinda love historical plots.
And this manga is by far the best I've ever read!
I really love this manga.
Though I didn't shed any tears where I'm supposed to.
God, this story portrays a more realistic story than Fushigi Yuugi.
How come it wasn't made to anime?
Okay, why would I say it was more realistic than Fushigi Yuugi?
It's the communication part.
Fushigi Yuugi (curious play) is about a normal school girl being absorbed into an old chinese story book right?
And she went into ancient China. Why would the people there speak Japanese?
Trolololol. Even their names are Japanese. Tamahome? Haha.
Kanata Kare has a similar beginning, but everyone in the fantasy world do not understand her.
And she was determined to learn their language so that she can communicate with the people in that world.
Noriko is so much stronger than Miaka, that's for sure =)
Oops, look at me, keep babbling non-stop.
I hope what I've written won't spoil anything =)
That's all for now, chiaoz people~
PS: Happy holiday guys! It's the independence day of Malaysia~
PSS: Gonna start reading Basara =)

Hey ya people!
As you know, I'm still using my mum's phone, from the day after my phone fell into a coma.
So... Yeah, I took some shots, but it takes a heck out of me to connect her phone to my lappy.
And guess what? My old phone's USB cable cannot be used at all.
Her phone's sucked at detecting the cable thing.
I tried to push it into the phone as hard as possible,
it did detect and managed to connect.
While establishing the connection, the phone auto restarted.
So it was a hassle for me to establish a bluetooth connection instead.
Took like a whole hour just to figure out how to enable the bluetooth thing by device manager when my control panel does not show any bluetooth options.
And... connecting it to the phone is a pain in the arse.
Well, at least I succeeded.
Which is, YAY for me, 'cos I no longer need to MMS those pictures to my e-mail and access it using my lappy. Save time and money.
Okay, here goes.
The thing is, I went to this restaurant in One Utama with my friends for KP's belated birthday celebration. Well it's inside Isetan Eat Paradise, the place where you can see a plenty of Japanese restaurants as well as Korean Eateries.
And the most popular spot for Ramen is Menya Musashi! Yum~
What so special about this restaurant is that, the employees' working spirit.
You know how usually the promoter will greet you with "Welcome"?
Well, this restaurant had all the staff greeting you!
When the girl outside the restaurant managed to pull you in and greeted in Japanese, which is "Irasshaimase!",
The other staff will take it as a signal that a customer has entered,
and I guess there's a leader in the kitchen as he yelled something,
totally alien to me and everyone, including the kitchen staff yelled "IRASSHAIMASE!"
It was embarrassing how we have to stand in front of the entrance and order our food there AND at the same time paying for it, while they're yelling at you.
The menu is really limited, to soup Ramen or Tsukemen, if there are others then I never did try them out before. And the funniest thing is that the green tea cold is cheaper than plain water.
Plus, the food are quite expensive! That time we ate, one person required to pay around RM30.
This totally knock my socks off. I guess we had to pay for the service of yelling at us.
I ordered the signature Musashi ramen, with two slices of pork, half of hard-boiled egg and some pickled bamboo shoots. It costs like RM26, and there are three types of soups to choose from: Shiro (White), Kuro (Black) and Aka (Red).
Shiro practically means clear, or no add-ons. Which is the perfectly Shio-type ramen soup.
Kuro they mentioned sesame oil and stuff, but for the soup to have some black liquid in it, Yuen thinks that they added Squid Ink or something.
Aka - obviously, is spicy.
And yup, I ordered Kuro. Nothing like eating something out of curiosity =)
The service is pretty quick.
Once we sat down, they served us our water.
And few minutes later, the noodles.
And here's mine:
It certainly looks yummy, alright.
But the pork slice in this picture looks more like bitter gourd to me ><
Hmm. Let me get a clearer shot of the black-coloured soup.
Failed. Totally. Sorry about that. My mum's phone isn't exactly the most high-tech gadget in the world. Just some cheap normal phone, and the camera function is like a surplus for her.
As long as she can call and SMS, she's happy.
Long story short, the noodles are springy~
The soup is TOTALLY LOVABLE! I wanted to drink the whole thing.
The soup stock is thick and full of flavour.
Why I didn't finish it? Well, I CAN'T!
The size for one serving is underrated.
I ate so much and there's still a lot of noodles left inside the soup.
Really a lot! If you wanted to try this, better share 1 large serving with your partner.
Nope, the story doesn't end here.
I went again to this very restaurant with my mum today.
She's really eager to try this out.
After I told my mum about this restaurant last week,
her colleague told her about it this week.
And she recommended her to try the dry ramen instead of soup.
So, there I went, with my mum, to eat something different from the menu.
Since my mum insisted on sharing, we had a little side order.
Gyoza. Well, it's pretty common here in Malaysia. Nothing abnormal.
But I kinda liked it. I finished the whole thing (Sorry mum).
While she eat her ramen. Which is a tsukemen ramen.
Yeah well, it looks like your average dry noodles with a bowl of soup.
But the way you eat Tsukemen ramen is different.
It's like eating Soba noodles.
You had to dip the noodles into the soup, and THEN only eat the noodles.
Why? 'Cos the soup is actually the VERY VERY SALTY broth.
It gives flavour to the noodles. But, NEVER, EVER, DRINK the soup.
It's freaking salty. Which is a total waste, after how I wanted to gobble down the soup on my previous visit.
(Hint: The price for different sizes is THE SAME! This is LARGE! And still at RM27. Yup, I know, it's expensive, but since we're sharing, it's cheaper per head.)
And well, I forgotten to mention, that they will pretty much yell in unison too when you're leaving.
"ARIGATO GOZAIMASU!"
It's funny how I wanted to reply with "do itashimashite" means you're welcome,
but it's kinda embarrassing to do that too.
So I just smiled and leave.
My second visit is kinda special.
The boss, the owner and the person who started this restaurant chain back in Japan.
Yes, the owner is a Japanese.
He was there to supervise and help with the reception.
I guess it's because Sunday there are way more people.
I had to queue with my mum before we can order.
Are you expecting a picture of him? No such luck.
Am not interested at all. Unless he brought his son along...
hahahaha Just kidding. Well, before I end,
since it's been a while since I last went to One Utama,
(being 1 year after interning at KPMG)
They renovated the old wing where Jusco was (or Aeon to be exact),
and I saw this candy shop, if I'm not wrong, is called Candylicious?
Well, we did some browsing there (with my friends, not my mum)
and took some shots.
Giant Hershey's Chocolate Syrup. Yum.
But it's fake. I think it's a coin bank or something. Haha.
Giant Hershey's Kisses.
Ditto. Coin bank.
If they're real, I bet the second country to have obesity problem after America will be Malaysia.
Well, just saying. No offence to anyone =P
That's all for now.
Will blog about stuff after I have my phone back (I hope).
Chiaoz people.Labels: cravings, happenings, random, review
Elow guys.
I'm kinda back now.
Well, since I have some slack time now I might as well update my blog.
I couldn't blog about stuff that I took pictures of, but they are still in my phone's memory.
And as you can see, currently my phone is under surgery,
ever since it fell into a coma last week Monday.
Hopefully it will come home to me safely. Amen.
(LoL sorry for being sarcastic, just that what I meant I can't retrieve the photos from my phone now so I can't blog about stuff I took pictures of.)
Well, the only thing that doesn't require me to take pictures is to blog about movies.
I watched two movies in two days after my ACCA examinations.
Firstly I watched this with Jia Hsiang.
I was surprised when I saw this title.
It was kinda like an unexpected twist.
I totally did not expect such a weird movie.
I mean, the president? Fighting vampires?
And of all the weapons he could use, why axe?
Freaky.
If you ask for my opinion, I would rate this movie as so-so.
No scoring, at first it looks okay, then it's like... nehhh... *rocking palm*
And definitely, not scary at all. Besides the stupid sound effect where they suddenly use an exploding sound to scare you. But not those gruesome scary.
And I don't understand why Jia Hsiang kept covering her ears.
Are those sound effects THAT loud? It did made my stomach jump, but it's not as scary as those fancy performance shows I watched in China. They use really loud exploding sound to mimick cannon shoot-outs.
Owh, right, on to the second movie.
This time, cartooon.
I guess it wasn't suppose to be out until 28th of June or something.
Totally surprised when my friends wanted to watch this. I meant Yuen.
And well, the 3D version came out on 21st of June, so go figure.
Hmm. Brave's mainly about tradition, where princess are supposed to get wedded with one of the princes who came to propose to her.
Anddddddd this very occasion is decided by the king and queen, of course.
Then of course, the princess will disagree with this.
What's more, the princess in this story is totally a wild girl.
She enjoys archery than any other people.
And she was being encouraged by her dad, no less, when she was a kid.
So... I can't say much about its storyline, I will spoil the fun if I did, to those who have yet to watch this movie.
But what I can say is that, you know Disney, usual story, intro, then heroine/hero did something stupid, then bad consequences, then teary moment, then the awakening, then happy ending.
Wee. I hope saying that won't spoil anything. My bad if it does.
But after watching so much Disney movies, I wouldn't expect a twist in its usual plot.
But you should expect one thing when it comes to this movie.
Which is.... the heroine, Merida's brothers.
SO CUTE. Well, they will after they had a "transformation".
Hehe.
Okay. That's all for now.
Will blog more when I get my phone back.
I can't even transfer pictures to my laptop from my mum's phone!
Lousy phone can't be read using my old SE USB cable.
Too bad then.

Hey guys!
Been pretty busy lately with exams and stuff,
not to mention that now I'm not really in a good mood,
anyway, screw that since I can't do anything about my test answers now,
unless I can change my answer script or something,
or drug the examiner to mark my answers correct,
then I practically cannot do any amendments for my mistakes.
So, I received quite a number of poslaju items during study week and exam week.
So far there are three, only those that I purchased online,
from an established website.
1stly, I bought a Bluetooth headset for my phone.
I purchased the coupon and paid during middle of February,
and only receive the thing early this month. Slow service.
I believe this offer is still available in Groupon.
It's ALWAYS available.
The second item is the thing I won over other bidders in lelong.com.my,
where they have massive amount of items to bid every Wednesday,
either morning or evening session.
This thing I bid during evening session, I'm guessing it's still available every Wed,
until who knows when the stock will be completely finished.
I was a really aggressive bidder that time 'cos I really wanted an oxygen mask.
Facial mask. Not the mask you use to protect against air pollution.
'Cos every time someone bid for the item I will bid it back a second later,
so the girls apparently gave up.
I was ecstatic when I received the item 2 days after the bid is over,
(it IS fast when you pay right after the bid is closed)
and tried it the same night.
And while the mask is okay, I really dislike the scent.
It smelled like syrup. Like the drink you drink in those buffet catering service.
Air bandung or whatever. It's so disgusting to apply something that you drink on your face.
Anyhow there's no turning back, I'm stuck with using it.
(Don't start talking about sunk cost, I will NOT spend money to buy another facial mask)
Last but not least,
I purchased a coupon from don't-know-which-group-offer-website...
Should be either everyday.com.my, or mydeal.com.my.
Which is this:
Cute aren't they? They're cable winders.
Basically, instead of using the black or white coloured wire thingy to neat up your lengthy strings and wires, we use this!
Here, I show you how to use them with my earphones.
Haha. Now my life is complete.
To have rilakkuma earphones AND the cable winder XD
Trololololol...
Cuteness overload.
PS: Anyone wanted hello kitty's? I don't know why but I seem to despise it.
Well, it comes in the coupon so I couldn't ask for an exchange.
That's all folks.

Hey guys.
I used it on both my hands Thursday night,
nothing much in progress.
However, when I apply on cotton and wrapped around my fingers on Friday night.....
(Drum rolls)
4 of my 6 fingers that had lost their fingerprints have recovered!!!!!
OMG.
I was so happy that I actually thought of going to the Immigration office to renew my fingerprints data! Last time when I renew my passport it was quite difficult when both my thumbs have lost fingerprints...
(dance of joy)
THANK YOU EGYPTIAN MAGIC CREAM XD
lololol. This is a good investment indeed... XD
That's all folks, chiaoz~Labels: happenings, review
Hey guys.
I think I should seriously STOP online shopping.
It's so uncontrollable!
WHY? 'Cos when it's payment time, I just need to click a few buttons and then the figures in my online banking account decrease a little bit, and it doesn't affect me one bit.
This is seriously dangerous.
I need to consider purchasing using real cash so that I won't feel nothing.
Yeah, I wanna feel the guilt to spend so much money at once.
Yes, I bought another item again.
And it was delivered yesterday, so you can imagine how I rushed home from college after lecture, so that I won't miss the delivery guy and have me pick up the item from the post office earliest by tomorrow 'cos I ain't got time today.
Well, only now, I'm sort of, a 'lil free, but the post office is closed at this hour =P
Anyway, I bought another perfume from Kenzo line.
Kenzo Parfum d'ete
This miniature perfume is, unfortunately, EDT.
I couldn't manage to find the EDP version for miniature, which is green in colour instead of transparent, so I couldn't test which is more long lasting, this or the Summer by Kenzo which I purchased last week.
Yup, both are leaves design. I love the smell of Parfum d'ete, I once owned it when I was still in Secondary two, but that one is the 1st version of that perfume, which was released in year 1992. Whereas this one that I bought is the 2nd version, which was revised in year 2002.
They mentioned that the fragrance was altered slightly, but I couldn't smell the difference, from what I remembered, 8 years ago. It's still the lovely, leafy and mild flowery smell. Perfect for an evening wear, or more suited for shy and feminine girls.
Well, let's say that Summer by Kenzo is really strong, so it's more suited for girls with active lifestyle, or girls whose personality is outgoing.
It's so difficult to compare when I prefer Parfum d'ete's smell more, but I prefer Summer's long lasting power. Anyhow, I think I will go for Summer. 'Cos I think Parfum d'ete scent is too mild... Kind of faint, to be exact. Although, Summer's scent doesn't really suit my personality...
Will decide again which leaf I'm buying =P

Speaking of Valentine's day, I made chocolates for my classmates.
Actually, to my group members and the excess I gave to my classmates aka friends that I should be thankful for.
I didn't get to snap a shot with my phone, but I managed to do so with my mum's ipad,
and use the app that my bro's GF downloaded to edit the picture to look cuter and nicer.
(It's kinda sucky the app is in Chinese, but it's a good app. Why, god, why do those nice apps are in Chinese? And I never see any for android. Please let me know if there is any.)
But since my bro disallow me to connect my mum's ipad to my desktop, since there's many case of viruses going on, and scared that the ipad will be infected, (gosh man, then my phone's a goner since I always connect to send photos to my desktop for this blog thing.)
So I copied the picture I uploaded to my Facebook account.
Here's the chocolate I made:
It costs so much, dude.
I purchased the ingredients on Monday, and they cost me 1/2 tank of my car's petrol.
More than that, even. (Yes, I even bought a box for put them.)
But since this is a once a year thing, so I let it be.
How I wish I have a valentine... :foreveralone:
