HI PEEPS!!!!

Oh my god, it's been like, 4 months I didn't update anything at all.
Peak period in audit firm, thus far, so I couldn't find the time (and a damn) to update.

So I'll just compile whatever pictures I've taken and write some totally random and nothing related with each other stuff in this post.

Let's start.

Firstly, CNY~ ahaha. That was like, 3 months ago.
I took 2 days of Annual Leave and have this stupid stomach ache from overeating,
so have to take a day off on Friday too.
Nothing much to do about, going Perak for a few days to visit my relatives, then onwards to Seremban for both sides of the family.

Then the best part is this:

Wee. Alot of angpows. But I think I spent almost all of them ehehehehe.

Obviously, after getting extra spending money I will buy something to reward myself.
Why not a new wallet and bag? bwahahaha.

I was totally obsessed with this then...:

Charles & Keith's employee spotted that I came in and bought twice that he asked me to fill in my particulars to get newsletters and promotional emails from them XD

I didn't take picture of my wallet but I did take picture of my new bag (that I bought like, few weeks ago):

Mmm... Lovely, way better than my previous bag that I bought online... (the zip broke around end of April. So basically the bag lasted around 7-8 months?)
                                                            ____________________

Then there's this time when I helped out with the audit of Power Impian (Power Root), (company that sell Ah Huat White Coffee), (and yes that song is stuck in my head that day), they gave out free drinks for us for doing vouching. haha. This is the isotonic drink I received:

I never actually see this brand on sale before. Hmm.

Then when we are about to get back to office, the area rain very terribly that the whole area is flooding. And imagine having a waterfall from the flood.

We have to drive the opposite road. and we stucked in a jam for around 3 hours. Grr.
____________________

There's this time when I went out with Lok for dinner, we went to Mid Valley 'cos from our client office is so freaking near! XD (Coincidentally his client's office and mine are in the same building)

So we ended up going to this ramen shop which is isolated from other restaurants since it's at the 2nd highest floor of the mall (That floor usually less people walk around there as shops there mostly sell hardware, furniture, etc)

It's Goku Raku Ramen (coincidentally his blog name is Raku. haha), and each bowl of ramen costs around RM20 (like a little cheaper than Menya Mushashi in 1 Utama).

He ordered Tokyo ramen and I ordered Tonkotsu ramen (pork bone!!) =3
And we learned that the pinkish thingy is called Naruto. hahaha.

Look at it... ah... It's making me hungry... O_O
____________________

There's this time when I ate with my audit team in Menara TM, at San Fran coffee, I took notice of its tissue paper...:

My first thought when I saw that is, "Who the heck ask for your opinion?"
and, "What makes you think I don't mind to use you as much as you don't mind me using you?"
So it sounds a little wrong but I have no idea why I would start thinking about arguing with this piece of tissue paper. Haha.
______________________

Last but not least:
Today is Malaysia's General Election day!
At first I was thinking not to go. Because the area that I'm registered to, doesn't have any party that I would like to vote for.
After lunch, my parents and brother went to vote at their own registered areas (the places where I used to live, aka, my old houses area) and then I went to my own 1 (near my house) to cast a vote anyway.

I was thinking, since everyone has been posting about their fingers, why not I do the same?
Haha. And that's the sole reason I went to vote. Like, seriously. Don't kill me please.

Went to this school near kampung area, and park at bus stop (busted~)
Then went to queue up to get my ballot.
The queueing took around 20 minutes?
And the time I used to get my ballot papers is shorter than the time I used to cast my vote and putting both ballot papers into the bin provided.

And back to my car I went. Ta daa~

Finger painted. but she painted more than my nail... Kinda sucked.
Luckily I'm back home early, because soon after, the rain started. Phew!

I was watching the GE results on TV just now and I was satisfied that the party I voted for has won. Grats to you! =)

Alright, that's all for now. Hopefully peak period will be over soon!

Funny snacks from Taiwan
Written at Friday, January 11, 2013 | back to top

Hi peeps! My brother just returned from honeymoon a week ago and he bought some stuff for me and mum.

Long story short, he bought me 2 items: biscuit and chocolate.

And bought my mum... some, I don't know... yoghurt snack?

Anyway, here are the 2 items he bought for me:

Doggy biscuit: Puppy Love

Bandage chocolate. LOL.

1) Dog biscuit. The box contains 2 flavours, chocolate and cheese.
Chocolate taste a little bitter.
Cheese taste really nice. Kind of buttery biscuit.

Ta-daa~

2) Chocolate that looks like a bandage.
Plasters, anyone? Not to apply on wounds but to eat!

Here's an example of a pack.

Here's how it looks like. Ahahaha. So cute.
My brother said he bought this 'cos sanitary pad chocolate is sold out.
My reaction to that is... ewwwww?

Next, he bought my mum something really funny.
If you guys got what Tong Pak Fu, Steven Chow's version,
you will know what I mean.

Epic comedy. We laughed when we saw them.

1) Tong Pak Fu's pill. Canto: Hum siu poon bou teng. Hahaha.

Here's the description. For those who can read chinese, lucky you.

Side box description.

2) Wa tai fu's medicinal pill. I don't remember what it's called.

Box description

Box description (2)

Now for some random foodies picture session!

1) I take away Kenny Roger's quarter chicken after I went to Mid Valley machines to take my mum's repaired ipad. It's quite okay except that they gave me too little sauce. Darn my chicken is so dry that time.

2) Menya musashi ramen! Forced my colleagues to join me. Bwahahahaha.
There goes my RM20+. But so worth it. I almost drank all their broth.
GOD I LOVE THEIR KURO SOUP BROTHHHHHHHH~

That's all folks =)

Christmas!
Written at Tuesday, December 25, 2012 | back to top

Of course guys, how I can write something not related to Christmas on Christmas?!
While I've posted some pictures straight in Facebook, I will use the same pictures here to explain as well to the circumstances of the pictures (haha. Circumstances. I played Ace Attorney too many times)

Anyhow, this post will be very Christmas-y.
(And some totally random food pictures, wee!)

I went to Mid Valley to meet Karyan today.
She's back from UK! (Well for a short period of time)
And the last time I met her is during my 20th birthday. More than 2 years!

Karyan, you look the same as always =P
(Except last time you're pretty, now you're prettier!)
And the first thing we did is to buy tickets for movie,
but I don't get why the hell Life of Pi is so popular that we couldn't even catch the 2pm showtime. (And 11.30am showtime already sold out.)
But we can find out from watching the movie online... At least.

So ended up we're eating lunch at 11 something. Or almost 12.
God. so early. And I'm not really that hungry. Haha.
We went to Carls Jr. I didn't take any pics.
Well. It's not exactly special. Just another fast food joint.
Plus I was too immerse in the conversation I don't bother to touch my phone for photos.
(Owh shit. I totally forgot to take pics with her)

Then we walked around MV for shopping.
And I bought myself something.

(Gonna weep when I see the bank statement)
Then we walked in to a shop named Muji, like a clothing + ikea wannabe.
But the furniture and kitchen wares the shop is selling are so expensive!
Like, why the hell do you want a small wooden bowl that costs RM70?
I can buy a similar bowl less than RM10 in supermarket.

Then I took this picture in Muji.

Just for the fun of it. The people down there look like ants.

Andddd we left around 3 something pm.
(And around almost 2pm? I bumped into Hung Min and his family. Wow.)
(And foursquare shows that ALOT of my friends checked-in to Mid Valley but I never saw them. Ever)

_____________________________________________________

And now, for some totally random pictures!
Here is the pictures from my department Christmas party.

Here is Kok Peng getting involved with a game session in the party.
(Guess the movie by drawing)

And here's the present I received from secret santa.
(Noooo marshmallows! So fattening T^T)

Here's some food pictures to annoy hungry people. Bwahahaha.

Scallop fried rice! From some medicine shop opposite Sticky and beside Maxis in 1 Utama. So expensive but so... yummy...

And Sushi King.. erm... some black pepper fish set.
(Ate this at Metropoint Kajang. Haha. Han Ming drove so far just to have a nicer lunch than mamak XD)

That's all for this year folks! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

So many weddings to attend!
Written at | back to top

Hey guys!
It's been like a month since I last updated anything.
Again, I'm lazy and all, and I was studying, then exam, then work again, then lazy again.
It's a cycle you know.

So now I'm trying to be a little bit hardworking (plus it's holiday today)
Then here I am. Updating a new post about what happened last weekend.

(Owh, and yes, Merry Christmas everyone~
Though I've said that in Facebook, with "Brace yourself" meme)

So once you saw my post title, you will know what to expect.
More freaking wedding meals.
Sorry. I can't help it. I love to take pictures of food before eating and posting them in my blog to annoy people and make them hungry. Gahahaha.

Anyway. My cousin's wedding last weekend, with me driving my car to Perak.
And what do you know? My car tyres had like, a cancer.
Like, a deep scar that can be punctured anytime.
So luckily my uncle work as a mechanic here in Bidor,
so we asked him to fix it up (well, of course not free. And my dad is charging me...
Well no. My mum expect me to bank-in the bill)

Then back to topic, I drove there at 10am on 22nd Dec?
(Yay, survive apocal- I mean, yay, the day after yummy winter solstice meal)
And there's a nasty traffic jam all the way from KL to Rawang.
Then another jam from Slim River to Sungkai. So annoying.
I pity those people who needed to travel further than I do.

Then I reached Bidor around 1pm++.
(All 'cos the jam. If not I reach before 12pm.
But actually that's cool 'cos I ain't got things to do in my uncle's house)
Yup. I am stuck in my uncle's house until I posted on Facebook to request someone to kidnap me from there and bring me for movies.

Well that didn't work 'cos there isn't any comments, or likes. Too bad then.

My cousin rent a house few houses away from my uncle's,
for a day, for 3 families. Namely mine, my 2nd aunt's and my 10th aunt's.
Kinda crammy, but it'll do.

Thank god for me my 3rd uncle suggested mahjong with my dad and my 2nd aunt,
so I watched them play after that boring period.
And my 2nd uncle done fixing my car and sent a bill to me in the middle of the game.
Then I-don't-know-what-time, I bathed and dressed up for the occasion.
And we were late like, 15 minutes.
And there isn't any parking nearby the wedding reception venue.
And we had to park roadside along neighbouring houses.

I wore my green dress I that wear to my brother's Johor wedding reception,
with my favourite Voir heel lace boots (but unfortunately I need to get a new one.
My mum asked me to dump them 'cos the leather is coming off)

And now I should mention the food.
Here comes the food~

Cousin please take note =P
This fish stinks, not fresh =(

(I didn't get to take pictures of the dessert 'cos by the time dessert are out everyone already left. Like yeah, it came out late)

And some cut-cake-pour-wine session~
(Though my picture looks more like they're poking the poor man's head)

And some make-the-bride-and-groom-embarrassed session
(The emcee asked them to kiss and make a turn while they're at it)

And some yam-seng session~

That's all folks.

2nd time wedding~
Written at Sunday, November 11, 2012 | back to top

Hi people.
I have forgotten to update on this. So here I am.
Firstly, why 2nd time wedding?

Well, I didn't plan it, but anyway they have them twice.
Once in Johor, once in KL.
And YES, it's my relatives' turn to show up! =D

So... on the night before the wedding,
we will have this buffet dinner, inviting all relatives and friends to come and eat!
(And I've invited my friends too~)

Here's the set-up of the food table!

And then there's dining area, outside, blocking the road. Bwahahaha.

My relatives all came around 3-4pm,
which makes the whole living room packed like hell.
Like, we don't even have place to sit around.

And... well... I ended up watching my uncles playing mahjong.

And one or two rounds I have to replace them while they are away for a toilet break.
And then chat around, and the WiFi getting slower and slower... XD

When my friends turned up, it was raining very very heavily.
Like, REALLY heavy.
So we end up hiding in my room, chatting while playing Big 2.
Haha. Yeah. It sounded boring, that we planned to go sing K and go eat McD.
But in the end the plan failed.
'Cos my mum don't allow me to go out.
And I have to wake up early the next day.
_________________________________________

So. The next day, I woke up at 9am.
And guess what, they came back from getting the bride at 10am.
And have to go through the ceremony thing.
And I have to give them drink tea.
And get angpow =)

Then I dressed myself up for the lunch.
And wore a black dress.
Like, the one that I liked. Not the green one.
I kinda hate the green one. But since my mum said I looked good in it.
Then, blah. Just buy it.

So. Not. Posting. It. Here.
My arms are like. so thick and fat.
Anyway, we went to this restaurant near Levain.
It's called Noble House restaurant?
(And well, have to guide my relatives 'cos they got lost)
(Yeah, I drove with high heels)

Reached there and regretted being at the main table.
I have to sit with my uncles and aunties.
And I missed my cousins.
And my close cousins sitting at another table.
And I wished to switch with my 1st aunty's 2nd son =P (Still cousin)
And to sit with my 5th aunty's daughters (cousins~!)

But anyway. Here's how the main table looks like. (From my place)

Teddies! I don't think I can take them though.
Poor teddies they're stuck at the pillars. Looks painful.

Now let me introduce the dishes~

The shark fin! GOD. I LOVE THIS. It's not like the usual shark fin soup.
This one is not the thick thick 1. It's more like a herbal soup.
With shark fin that looked like pencil scrap. You know, when you use sharpener,
and there's this residue? The shark fin looks exactly like that!
God I love this soup sooooooooooo much!

Then... the rest.

Are. They. Looking. At. Me...? O_O

That's all. And then...
We reached home around 3pm.
It's fun but a tiring day XD

That's all.
So lazy to write more.

Chiaoz people!

(Note: My brother got so drunk that day his friend have to send him home.
And then there's my Facebook status saying Taio Cruz - Hangover song the next day =P)

Tiring weekends
Written at Sunday, October 28, 2012 | back to top

Hello people.
I'm home from this tiring trip to Johor.
Go ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way there just for a wedding reception.
And had to stay there for 2 nights. Like, what?!

Besides wasting time there, I managed to see that, in 3 days,
Johor people, I meant the girls, their fashion... mostly influenced by Koreans?
All, I mean, ALLLL their clothing shops sell those kind of clothes!
Well I don't know about other shopping mall,
but the nearest to my hotel, Sutera Mall, have no branded stores at all.
Like you know, those recognizable brands like Giordano or Voir or Elle or Padini...
NONE. All they have are random stores selling Korean inspired clothes.

Alright... that aside. This trip is so freaking tiring.
Who's idea to suggest ME to drive?
My car so kelian have to go to such distance from KL to Johor...
Freaking 300+km weh.

It even trembles when I tried to speed exceed 110km/h.

And my poor right leg. God.
Do you know how much I stepped on the brakes on the way home?
Uncountable. Who the hell invent the brake pedal to be so high up and front compared to the accelerator pedal? Freaking tiring keep spamming on brakes.
Why? Stupid jam from Melaka all the way to Nilai.
I had to like, brake, accelerate and brake and accelerate... argh!
And we don't even know what cause the jam.
No freaking accident, no nothing. Suddenly smooth back after Nilai turning.
The hell?

Okay fine, I'll stop complaining, but I'll keep it short 'cos my back and shoulders are aching from the drive and I'm very very tired. How I wish I can take leave for tomorrow....

Anyway, we embark on our journey to Johor around... 3pm on Friday.
Reached there around... 7+pm.
Reached hotel almost 8pm. Then eat dinner with my sis-in-law's family.
(Well they're not my in-laws) They don't even speak cantonese. Or English.
And you know. That awkward moment begins.
BORED. And I don't enjoy eating with a bunch of acquaintances.
It just feels weird, and you won't be able to act like yourself,
and you wouldn't dare to eat alot.
'Cos there are 12 of us and there's only around 5 dishes.
Kinda too little if you ask me...

Anyway, the food are so normal looking that I don't even care to take any pics.
So... finally we reached hotel at 12am and hit the sacks at 1am.

On Sat we woke up at around 8am.
Then wash up until 9am, eat breakfast at Hua Mui restaurant.
Something like... Old Town white coffee-ish restaurant,
so it's kinda so-so for me.

Then walked around Sutera Mall after breakfast.
and at that time the shops are not even opened!

I can almost see a random hay blown by the wind.
But I guessed it's okay when the stores opened around 10am+.
during lunch time, we ate at this Hakka restaurant called Ke Ren Lai.
Not that bad, but 100% lose to Ying Ker Lou.
Ying Ker Lou taste way better.

Then back to hotel to wash up again,
Then brother fetch us to walk around the mall at 3pm.
Like, Jusco (or Aeon, but meh.) Bukit Indah.
Walked around there, and stopped by Lavender Bistro.

My parents drank jasmine rose tea, while I ordered Peach Soda.

This is. NICE. Like, you know, being a fan of peach,
I would love to try whatever associated with peach.
And this drink taste like its name. Carbonated peach drink. Yum.

My brother fetch us to the wedding reception at around 5pm.
It's at horizon hills, the clubhouse in there.

That's my dad's head. Haha.

Overall it looked cosy and cute.
But I was wrong. The place, since 6pm,
it froze my family. Like, in a fridge.
Freaking cold!
And I don't even have a scarf with me. I'm so buying one this week!

Anyway, I wore my hideous green dress, and sat there waiting since then.
The thing didn't start until 8.15pm,
so by then you know how grumpy I felt.
My back is aching from sitting so straight up.
The chairs there are quite straightened and I can't even sit unladylike.
So. I was aching. Badly.

But by then the food arrived so I perked up a whole lot more.
And it's so fun to have my own plate.
You know, usually when we have to attend these kind of dinner,
we are sat according to tables.
And they serve like one big bowl of something,
and we had to be quick with our hands.
Otherwise, the food will be finished by other people sitting at the same table.
Sucks rite?

But being at the Main table isn't so bad.
We have our own plate of food so we don't have to worry about not getting our share.

Well, here are the pictures of food I ate on Saturday night.
No further explanations. A picture speaks a thousand words.

Well. Looks good. I ate 3 of those puddings. I'm so gaining weight.
'Cos my dad can't eat sweet stuff and my brother is so busy he don't even have time to eat his dinner. So I chowed down his dessert without him knowing. Hehe.

Owh, before I forget, here is a picture when the couple poured champagne.
(And I have to go on stage to shout "Yam Seng")

That's all for Saturday night.
We ended up reaching hotel at 12am again and sleeping at 1am.

Sunday we're a tad late, I woke up at 9am, and my dad followed suit.
While my mum had been staring at the ceiling since 7am.
And kept complaining she's hungry.
But we ended up eating at 10am at the same kopitiam.
'Cos we scouted around Sutera Mall and none of the restaurants are open.

Then we returned to hotel and wait for check out,
and wait for my brother to come to guide us to the highway.
At 12pm, my brother asked to eat lunch with us.
And at that time we're so full that we can't eat anything extra,
but my mum said ok anyway.

We went to Tang Shifu around 1pm,
and ended up not eating any rice. Just stuff ourselves with abalone,
scallops... fish maw. Sea cucumber. Blah.

But here's my favourite. The drink I ordered.
It's aloe vera with royal jelly drink.
It quenches my thirst pretty quickly,
and it's cooling and tasty too. But a little too sweet.
(That's my sunglasses, 'cos it's so freaking HOT at Johor.)

After lunch, my parents went to a jewellery store to buy a ring and a bracelet for the couple.
And I ended up bored.
They bought them, but had to wait 'cos the ring's size need to be adjusted.
By the time they're done it's already 3pm.
And the time when we reached the highway junction, it's almost 4pm.
(I curse my brother for not letting me reach home at 5pm. I missed out one 2 days 1 night episode! ARGH!!!!)

And after the accursed jam I mentioned earlier, I reached home almost 9pm.
And now here I am, typing this lengthy post while massaging my aching shoulder.
Ah! Time to hit the sacks!
Chiaoz people!

(PS: Sorry Yuen I didn't get to go to your 21st birthday party...
Give you present this coming Saturday!)
