I've done this over 2 weeks ago, but I found myself too lazy to post.
Hi guys. This so-called mission is simple.
Namely, anime marathon.
Finally, I managed to get the DVD I wanted at a more affordable price.
Usually, that anime will be sold around RM69.90 in usual video shops,
but I found 1 20% cheaper =)
And man, this anime is old. I've been wanting to watch this anime since I was 16.
and THAT time, it's already out as anime 5 years ago!
no matter how old this anime is, I will always yearn to watch it <3
and finally, I owned it.
This is none other than Fushigi Yuugi: The Mysterious Play
(although Astro called it, The Curious Play)

I enjoyed watching any anime associated with ancient China.
or just China. (although Ranma 1/2 in China kinda in a lame and funny way)
The instant I watched Cooking Master Boy [thats what Astro named it as, although it's actual name, based on the manga is Chūka Ichiban! (China's Number One!)]
I fell in love with anime (well, it's my 1st anime after all! when I was, hmm. 12? 13?)
and fell in love with cooking-type anime (Including Yakitate! Japan)
Well, back to the story, Fushigi Yuugi, really is, super old.
I searched the Seiyuu (voice actor) for all of the characters,
and all pictures came out are middle-aged people.
(Can't deny Tamahome's voice is uber nice! although I can't believe the same voice actor is the voice of Rukawa from Slam Dunk)
And the storyline? O.M.G.
I bet you, including the 3 OVAs, if you watched it, you will cry as much as watching 1 Litre of Tears. Well, usually the heart breaking plot is at the middle-end of the anime.
My eyes are sore, mind you, but I managed to finish this anime in 2 days XD
(Don't worry, there are plenty of comedy and romance in-store too)
This is the 1st time I wanted to watch the next episode so badly that I continued to watch until the wee hours. And I can't even laugh loudly when a comedy part comes in...
I really recommend you to watch the OVAs too if you planned to watch this anime, or you have not watched the OVA. The 1st OVA is the best, the last part will make you laugh...
well, LOL.
On the other hand, I bought another DVD along with the previous one.
I was shocked when I saw this is on the shelf:

I didn't realise Kimi ni Todoke will release Season 2!
and I bought it cheap! with free soundtrack too =P
the anime is 5 times shorter than Fushigi Yuugi,
but it's still not bad. All about romance in a classroom.
And it's a shy one.
Slow, but cute~
The reluctance of the main characters... haha.
and... the obstacles, the hurdles they have to run past....
well, the ending is quite predictable.
But the plot is to see how they end up as the ending.
That's all folks.
Back to the real life now =P
