Hey guys!
Gosh, I wanted to do something so much.
I'm so bored to death at home without anything to do,
besides Facebook-ing and 9Gag-ing.
This week I've been crazy about manga!
For those people who are unsure what I'm talking about,
I'm not talking about a padlock, in Malay,
and I'm not talking about mango, in Malay.
But it was all about Japanese comics!
We don't call them comics simply because you will think that I was referring to English-type comics, like Marvel, or even childish children comics like Crayon Shin Chan.
Here, I present to you, the list of manga I read this week,
(using my mum's ipad, I was addicted to it! It can download tons of manga, but free account only limited to 10 chapters per time. It's called Manga Storm.)
Guys, you can look away, these manga are for girls hahaha~
Tsuki no Shippo (Tail of the Moon)
Zettai Kareshi (absolute boyfriend)
Hadashi de Bara wo Fume
Koukou Debut
BxB Brothers
Kanata Kara (From Far Away)
That looks a lot, huh?
I can tell you that both Tsuki no Shippo and Hadashi de Bara wo Fume is drawn by the same mangaka, Ueda Rinko. I prefer Tsuki no Shippo, it made me cry like shit in 1 part.
Hadashi de Bara wo Fume is more to, a very very wicked villain.
And both of these manga is historical, though the latter happened around world war. I think.
I'm pretty sure Zettai Kareshi is quite well-known.
They even have drama for this manga!
I didn't watch the drama version though, I think that whatever anime or drama you watch,
the manga will always be the best plot. Anime and drama tend to cut scenes away.
This is drawn by the famous mangaka Watase Yuu who created both Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres! I love her drawing. Look at Night! He really is the absolute boyfriend every girl ever dreamt.
Koukou Debut is quite funny at first, but it kinda bores me when the plot lengthens.
The drawing is a little similar to Kimi ni Todoke, but it appears that the latter is not her work.
The plot is a little similar to Kimi ni Todoke too, but I don't really like those stories that lengthen on their love progress. It really is boring.
BxB Brothers has its own charm.
It's quite funny and nice, but the confession part is the one that bores me too.
Man, it takes forever for the guy to confess.
And he's so freaking dumb. Argh.
Anyhow I prefer this than Koukou Debut.
I saw someone recommend Kanata Kara when I searched around google for manga similar to Tsuki no Shippo.
I kinda love historical plots.
And this manga is by far the best I've ever read!
I really love this manga.
Though I didn't shed any tears where I'm supposed to.
God, this story portrays a more realistic story than Fushigi Yuugi.
How come it wasn't made to anime?
Okay, why would I say it was more realistic than Fushigi Yuugi?
It's the communication part.
Fushigi Yuugi (curious play) is about a normal school girl being absorbed into an old chinese story book right?
And she went into ancient China. Why would the people there speak Japanese?
Trolololol. Even their names are Japanese. Tamahome? Haha.
Kanata Kare has a similar beginning, but everyone in the fantasy world do not understand her.
And she was determined to learn their language so that she can communicate with the people in that world.
Noriko is so much stronger than Miaka, that's for sure =)
Oops, look at me, keep babbling non-stop.
I hope what I've written won't spoil anything =)
That's all for now, chiaoz people~
PS: Happy holiday guys! It's the independence day of Malaysia~
PSS: Gonna start reading Basara =)
