Back to the start
Hey guys...
I... seriously, lazy to update about KPMG module 5 day 2...
But if you must know, morning we had the usual,
the dance and cheer~ then some lessons from Ms Andrea.
After that, we had tea break and the horrific moment the time I'm in all the modules.
The worst case scenario for me: Table talk.
Come up, draw 1 question from the box, take few seconds to think of the points,
and talk for at least 1 and 1/2 minutes.
I went out, took 1 question, shocked as I read through...
"If you're a genius, what would you invent?"
the 1st thought that came into my mind is a robot.
A multi-purpose robot.
Some points I took from Chobits actually.
but... I think I practically became silent after talked about the point of the robot becoming a car or a plane. Thanks to 'back to the future' movie.
I think I wasted almost 30 seconds being 'errrrrrrrrr' and silent.
I was so nervous I can't think... My friends looked bored too.
I can't help it... If you ask me something easier to think through then I can just talk crap and not being silent.
Sad weh. After I sat down, I only have this brilliant idea.
Of inventing a new generation of cars.
Cars that can fly like back to the future.
Cars that are portable like Disney channel cartoons.
(Portable means can be folded and put into pocket)
And I had this idea of advertising it. Sigh.
I guess I can only think when I'm not nervous... -_-
After the table talk final session,
we had another activity.
We worked in pairs.
and given 3 questions.
Min 2 questions must be answered.
1) Budget RM200, show appreciation to someone. What would you do/buy? (NO ACTUAL CASH GIVEN)
2) Internship. Need makeover. Name 2 shops/items u gonna buy & why.
3) Your dream. And you need to buy something to achieve it...?
Name 3 quotes and 2 music or movies that inspires you to achieve that dream.
(NO INTERNET ALLOWED)
We're supposed to search around in 1 Utama.
Pretty cool. There's alot of 'SALES' Sign but we don't have time to shop. Sigh.
We ate at McD. 'Cos we could get free ice-cream from the KPMG staff.
And I'm full and still am sick of McD.
ARGH... No More McD Please!!!
FYI: paired up with June Lim.
1st time talking to her. Felt okay.
Even though both of us know cantonese but we converse in English. Haha.
1) I suggested watch, and June just agree. I answered this question.
June suggested give to mentor. So I present to give to Kok Wai.
2) Makeover. 1stly suggest clothes and hairstyle.
But hairstyle hard to elaborate. So she use watch points too.
We were given 4 mins max. and both of us use up 3.5mins.
I spoke quite fast. I was nervous again. Sigh.
I listened to everyone, and I think I speak the fastest -_-
After that... what we had again?
Tea break? Ugh. And my throat still can taste the ice-cream.
We didn't eat much though.
And we hid inside the room where we had tea break in the dark.
To give a surprise bday to Tristian. Haha.
All of us kept complaining why he went toilet for so long...
Some even said he pooped. LoL.
And we sang bday songs in 3 different languages.
English, Chinese, Cantonese.
Then a few of them voice out. Bias, didn't sing tamil.
Hmm... I just follow the crowd so.... LoL.
After that we had a video session where we watched the videos recorded,
since module 1 till module 4.
And the dance with our mentors.
I laughed till I cough. 'Till now I had abit cough still =(
Especially the dance with mentors part. Ken Ming really hurt my tummy XD
(not directly but you get what I mean right?)
After that we had a session to send a letter to someone we wanted to thank.
And everyone in my group, sent the letters to our mentor =X
And I think I wrote craps. Haha.
After that the twist dance.
And the special thing is that, Tristian asked the mentors to dance as well,
'as his bday gift'.
The girls were reluctant to move,
but we cheered on them. Even though at 1st we promised to dance with them (their condition)
But....... no way I'm dancing it again hahaha... 1 of us even recorded their dance XD
(And my hands were red from clapping too much)
It's sad to be the final module but I really had a lot of fun.
I didn't regret a single thing. (Except maybe the table talk session...
But nevermind about it. I guessed nervousness overcame me, for now)
Hmm. Now, back to my actual blog post topic.
What's the meaning of 'back to the start'?
Back to laziness. Haha.
Yes. Laid back kind of things. I'm doing it again.
Gah.
By the way, saw Yuen's blog.
And she written the Faye Wong's lyrics for final fantasy 8 song.
Or is it 7? Eyes on me song, 8 right?
Well, it stuck on my head now,
and I went and searched the lyrics for another slow ballad song from final fantasy.
Final fantasy 10, suteki da ne by Rikki.
Yes, it's not in English but Japanese and I loved it. Last time.
It's been a while since I last listened to this song.
This is the lyrics. Pretty short and simple 'cos the song is very slow.
Kaze ga yoseta kotoba ni Oyoida kokoro Kumo ga hakobu ashita ni Hazunda koe Tsuki ga yureru kagami ni Furueta kokoro Hoshi ga nagare, koboreta Yawarakai namida Suteki da ne Futari te o tori aruketa nara Ikitai yo Kimi no machi, ie, ude no naka Sono mune Karada azuke Yoi ni magire Yume miru Kaze wa tomari; kotoba wa Yasashii maboroshi Kumo wa yabure; ashita wa Tooku no koe Tsuki ga nijimu kagami o Nagareta kokoro Hoshi ga yurete, koboreta Kakusenai namida Suteki da ne Futari te o tori aruketa nara Ikitai yo Kimi no machi, ie, ude no naka Sono kao Sotto furete Asa ni tokeru Yume miru
Mmmmm... Lovely.
Okay, that's all from me today.

BEST module 5 Day 1
Hey hey hey!
I'm tired, again!
This morning till now my left foot hurts like #@(*%&(*#^
So. 6am wake up, again. I think I slept around 4~5 hours.
Then reach college around 7.45am...
Then, sit in bus waiting.
Then bus only start moving at 8.20am.
'Cos got some late comers, maybe they thought the bus going off at 8.30am.
Since my mentor posted 8.30am start module. LoL.
Traffic jam like shit. We reached there at almost 10am.
Yup. I was so bored in the bus, I regretted I didn't bring my NDS along...
I abandoned my secret weapon today =(
Mostly I chatted with Juh Yan abit,
then laugh at Tzong Meng's iphone app thing~
KPMG tower, ish... cool I guess.
I like the ID scan scan thing to open the door.
They made that to avoid other people to enter the premises I guess,
since the KPMG tower not fully occupied by KPMG offices.
I guess we had to wear business formal is to dress for the part.
I mean, we're entering a big firm. We had to look smart =D
At least tomorrow is casual wear. Since it's a Saturday.
Today's lesson is motivation. More like self motivation.
And someone who is your hero, motivates you to do something.
Something like a transitional person.
A total of 2 videos were played.
1 is the father who played the hero role for his son, who was mute and handicapped.
And his son wanted to fulfill something, so they entered marathon, and those sports stuff...
And his dad is 60+ years old. He had to bring his son along as a passenger and they run the race together.
It's really touching... I almost cried. I'm holding my tears in XD
Another video is about Helen Keller and how she learn about the world from her beloved teacher. And she was sharing this story personally, the presenter is her translator.
That is touching too, but I didn't cry XD
Around 10.30am, we had tea break, at the tenth floor.
The pantry is amazing!
Nice grubs, and OMG! Ahmad Tea... That is the high class tea from London, right?
But I didn't try that, 'cos another drink caught my eye even more.
The Nescafe coffee dispenser. They have honey green tea!
It smells nice, tastes nice, not sweet at all, very mild =)
Getting back, there's a session after the 1st video where volunteers share their story on who their heroes are in their lives.
And 1 of our friends shared a heartfelt story...
Before that, she cried and I felt it too...
After she finished, I had to wipe my eyes. Really really touching.
Then the last event of the day is table topics...
My most feared. Stage fright, heartbeat skip multiple times.
Nervousness. And I didn't volunteer myself at 1st,
my friends asked me to, when I went in front,
they said they already had 12 volunteers.
So, I HAD to present tomorrow.
The remaining 13 members.
OMG. Even though it's only max 2 and 1/2 mins,
having the topic to talk about is totally random,
and you only get the topic like, when it's your turn after you face the crowd.
No preparation time whatsoever.
And you know what, I couldn't be spontaneous.
Unless you ask me something I can talk alot about.
Like anime or Japanese drama or the English songs?
I'm a coward.
Overall, most of them done very well.
We laughed most of the time =D
And I was like... WHAT!!!
when the 5 volunteers who shared their story about their heroes in their lives,
get a RM10 Starbucks voucher.
Not much but better than nothing right?
(Even though a small cup of blended ice mocha already costs RM12)
We had a small discussion regarding our final project,
and we left KPMG tower at 1.15pm.
Reach college around 2pm.
After that I went to Taman Segar Maybank.
To make new account. But after waiting for so long,
at around 3.30pm, they called up my name,
I walked to the counter, and she told me that the PC system is down.
She don't know what time will the system be fixed, 'cos only now they inform the technician.
And the bank closes at 4.30pm. What the heck?!
I might as well come back on Monday, even though usually Monday is the most crowded day ever (given is the 1st working day of the week, those companies using Maybank will surely have some transactions)
So I went home. And rest and relaxation, I guess.
I'm not really relaxing though.
I had to wake up early again tomorrow....
When will this ever end?

KPMG module 3
Hey guys! (and gals)
Module 3 activities were awesome~!
I can't exactly remember all though. Oops!
Today itself is quite fun... We learned something about trust,
relationships? hmm. Interpersonal skills?
And how to be a good listener.
And the day before we learned that negotiations are really, freaking hard.
And my twist dancing kinda improved?
Our group dance kinda like shitty?
(Cos it's been a month since we last danced that)
and we're so happy that we don't have to prepare for presentation 'cos our head of school was having a meeting that time, and it's postponed to the next module, which is pretty much next month.
Why today's activities cool? In a pair, one have to blindfold self and another as the navigator. The navigator have to guide the blind to walk through a series of so-called obstacles for us (slope, stairs, swimming pools... and longkang!) without touching the blind.
And the blind only can listen and walk according to the navigator's instructions.
And cannot speak. But I spoke two words. Oops.
What I spoke? I re-confirm his instructions. Turn right.
I was like, turn right? I ter spoke it out and then i was like, shyt =X
Yesterday's most interesting activity is the company thing.
We establish a company and had a plan to build something.
My group got a shopping mall.
And few decks of cards serve as cash.
So there's like, 4 different types of currency.
There are 4 companies in total and we also have a bank and a casino.
The 'cash' given to us weren't enough,
So we negotiated with other companies to exchange currency with them.
Tough 'cos all companies wanted to earn some profits from changing with them.
The casino stinks 'cos it's closed and changed into a small local bank most of the time.
The bank, which is an international one, is being persistent.
Very very persistent.
We had to write a proposal to get a loan. And convince the banker (my mentor lol) that our shopping mall has a bright future bla bla, but he rejected it 'cos of its location.
Well, the shopping mall we got is 1 Utama... Of 'cos we just tagged along with the actual location of the shopping mall...
He's like, no. Damansara had alot of shopping malls.
Ikea, Ikano Power Centre, The Curve, bla bla.
The 4 CEOs of the company actually thought of joint venture and to have a loan from the bank but the time's up. Too bad.
(Other companies are airport, theme park and hotel)
It was fun though.
Enjoyed it. But not the assignment part =S
I actually don't understand what the question is asking us to write...
Hmm.
That's all from me.

Module 2 Day 2
Yo dude and dudettes.
So it seems.
Another module is done for.
LoL. This day is fun.
We had more hands-on activities than brainstorming ones.
And that twist dance I gave my full. LoL.
'Cos I think it's been a while since I last danced.
Properly, that is.
And my friend who was behind me said I danced till so violent...
Sweats.
And I ate alot today. Gosh.
I'm so gonna workout non stop starting tomorrow.
The best part is that our mentor danced with us in our group dance.
Haha. Damn funny XD
And we took pictures with him~
I just don't like the assignment part =(
It's like a homework for holidays. Ish.
Actually I don't really understand the question. Sigh.
I'll try my best~!

Module 2 Day 1
Hey.
It's a long day today.
Nothing really special I guess.
Besides learning more stuff.
And it actually is kinda boring.
Well, except having a meal every 2 hours, which will make me even fatter,
and the dancing thing...
Made me yawned multiple times.
The dancing thing I looked like shyt.
Argh. Nevermind about that.
It's just that, everytime the module ends, we had to dance some twists.
And I don't really like that dance.
Why can't they have a more modern type of dance instead?
Like those in Para Para Paradise 2nd Mix? haha...
Then at least I would be familiar with those dance moves.
I'm more to pop.
Sigh. hmm.
More to come tomorrow. I don't know what to expect.
Besides expecting myself not eating breakfast and have to go college earlier.
I'm stuck in a traffic jam this morning since 7.40am.
I'm suppose to reach there at 8.30am, but I'm 20 minutes late...
Luckily the module started at 9am.
I rather go earlier now while wait in the car for time to pass.
Then having myself scolding some shyt slowpoke car in front of me.
oops. Yeah I kinda like very impatient. Sigh.
Negative development from being stuck in a traffic jam. Ha!
Well. That's all. I don't really feel like going through all the exercises we did in the module.
And when I mean exercise, it's brainstorming exercise rather than the literal meaning.

Merdeka Day?
Hey people!
My Merdeka day for this year, mix both awkwardness and fun =)
well, I met some people for my KPMG group name, cheer and dance.
And those people I've never met before, except Lerina.
And we had lots of fun! I laughed lots.
At 1st I was, blur. 'Cos I have to fetch someone I don't know to practice.
Haha. But it was nice to meet someone new.
Tomorrow's gonna be the 2nd module of the programme!
Looking forward to it =)

PS: Lame dance created. haha.

Friendship Quote of The Day:
Friends make it possible to live in a cruel world.
Hey hey!
It's been a longgggggggggggg day.
This is the 1st time I'm wearing formal clothing for such a long period of time.
The KPMG launching is at 10.00am instead of 9.30am,
I guessed they had anticipated Malaysian's punctuality.
Hey, I reached at 9.15am okay? I'm too punctual I guess.
The launching is, similar to any other formal launching events, boring.
Long-withered speeches given by the principal, KPMG rep &
a Deputy Minister of Higher Education, whose name I had forgotten.
After that, we laughed at the actual launching moment.
All they had to do is click a button on the laptop,
and the presentation of the powerpoint will be played.
And guess what? The sound effect is so lame and funny.
It's kinda pathetic.
We had so-called lunch break after that, around 10.30am?
I'm not hungry that time, 'cos I ate breakfast at 7.30am.
I don't think my sandwich has been fully digested.
We went to CITC instead.
I was so... surprised.
The college actually blocked all FB games.
So I resolve my boredom through reading Manga online =)
They asked us to return to the same venue at 12.30pm,
once we reached there, they started at 1pm.
1st module started with some grouping.
I joined Juh Yan, and met some new friends.
Juh Yan's friend, Vincent and Hari.
Well, before that I met Sally and Shalanee too.
After that, we had some, so-called ice breaking session.
We're given 2 pieces of paper with 10 numbered descriptions.
They are descriptions of 10 students and we're required to find out who.
In the end, we completed by copying other people's answers.
But some I received the answer from them who said that the descriptions fit them.
Well, once that's settled, we're given another activity.
We're required to join with another group of 4 people,
and draw our hand prints on a piece of Mahjong paper.
We had to write down what we wanted to achieve at the end of this programme in our hand prints, and write what traits you wanted to eliminate at the space out of the hand print.
Most of us wanted to have confidence and courage,
and wanted to eliminate procrastination, nervousness, etc.
Next, after separating with other group,
we're required to build a tower with only straws and celotape.
my group built a box-like building which is the shortest tower,
and can withstand few books on top of it.
but after a break time, Ms. Say tested everyone's tower one by one.
and ours, I think it got spring or something.
When she threw a book from above,
our tower plunged into the air and fell to its side.
So, it's like a failure.
That's that. And next one is the paradigm.
We're suppose to share a story on how in our experience we had a paradigm shift,
only 3 guys volunteered to share,
when she asked for a girl, everyone is silent.
I WASN'T EVEN LOOKING DOWN when she suddenly asked me to share.
'Told you I'm gonna choose you if you're looking down.'
Bullshit.
So I told everyone that I had to shift to Accounting from Biology from form 3.
and had my ambition changed. There.
Then... some video clip watching.
About some law of harvest?
I think my heart went somewhere else when I was watching.
It kept remind me of Harvest Moon in my NDS that I've abandoned.
And I only played till the 7th day of Spring in 1st year.
Haha.
Then... assignment time.
Ask us to do a 1k words essay on some topic.
I super damn lazy to do.
Then... some fun moments I guessed.
But more to embarrassment.
He taught us a dance following a video.
And it's some oldies dance, for me.
Twists! OMG! I rather dance hip hop even if I'm wearing formal.
Haha.
That's all to the enjoyable day with them.

Acceptance
Friendship Quote of The Day:
I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I'm with you.
Hi~! Sort of wanna share some good news.
I'm accepted to be a trainee in KPMG softskills development programme!
I'm so excited XD
Out of 98 students applied, I'm one of them~
And this Friday I'm supposed to attend the launching of this programme at 9.30am.
But I've got tax lecture this Friday at 10am.
What am I suppose to do? Will the other students skip that lecture?
And I need to buy extra formal clothing.
My current one, well, kinda tight.
I know. I've gained weight.
My one and only formal shirt which is bought 2 years ago.
Maybe I should try San's drink.
LoL. After this semester started, I never exercise.
This is terrible T-T
Erm, that's all I wanted to say.

1st interview
Friendship Quote of the Day:
Grief can take care of itself, but to get the full value out of joy,
you must have a friend to divide with.
Hey peeps!~
Another time, another dead blog.
But at least now I've got something to say.
Today. The day that I had to sacrifice my beauty sleep.
And I woke up at 6am.
Guess what? KPMG interview day.
No, I'm not working there.
Interview for TARC-KPMG softskills development programme.
Or that's the title I remembered.
There are too many applicants.
And they only needed around 30 to 40 students.
And there are 98 of us.
I reached there at 8.15am, standing outside of the lecture hall while waiting for:
1) people to open the locked lecture hall doors
2) the late comers who are suppose to put us to the test.
And surprisingly, I only realized the test structure when I'm standing there, chatting with my friend. Kind of, dumbfounded.
1) Verbal questions. Basically test your English. Given few passages and the questions will be in a form of sentences, and you need to indicate if that sentence is either true, false or more information is needed to confirm the answer. 40+ questions in 20 minutes. Surely a lot of them will screw this, including me.
2) Numerical questions. Basic Maths questions we click our calculator through which we have learned in secondary school. 28 questions in 25 minutes. I can manage, not sure about the others.
3) Essay. Given two questions. 20 minutes. Can manage.
i) You're in a situation. And you're in charge to turn the table around, from bad to good basically. You have to tell this story based on your experience.
ii) Your friend did something. And you want to persuade him to change his mind. Tell this story.
My mind is blank for no. 3. I chose 2. And create a story.
I don't particularly have any experience in this matter.
Then, break at 10.30am. Result out from 11.15am to 11.30am.
No appetite. Have no absolute hope. Ate a little.
Result out at 12pm. Blocked the walkway of SBS office for almost 1 hour.
My name is there (surprisingly), almost shouted OMG loudly when I saw my name.
Both my friends didn't get it. Sadly... Kinda afraid to be alone.
I'm back at the lecture hall. 4 different venues and mine is that very lecture hall.
Saw few students are there, said hi, and chatted with them.
Btw, there's a guy that looks a bit like Jung Yong Hwa.
A BIT. not much.
I'm second, she randomly called out our name.
She's friendly. Her name is Nancy. Chubby with curly long hair.
A 'lil albino-ish on her neck.
It's more like a friendly chat than an interview.
But she did jot down a lot of notes. Kinda creepy about that.
Asked about why I choose to apply this programme.
What problems I faced when working in a group project.
Leadership qualities
Team building.
Those personal skills.
I think I simply answer. Done. Quite fast.
1st person took 30 minutes. and Yuen said I took 5 minutes. Really?
Went home. Don't care mood. Wanted to get off my formal clothes ASAP.
Had diarrhea. Shyt 3 times. Butt pain. Stomach pain. Ouch.
Now I felt so lazy to type XD
Ha. ha. That's all I guess.
Tell you guys the result next week.

PS: Lame dance created. haha.

1st module
